If you want to avoid the crowds and score better hotel prices, I suggest visiting during the shoulder seasons, in May or September. Early September is a great time to visit Bodrum for a quiet off-season vacation, as the sea is still warm, with an average temperature of 73°F.

• Camps Bay Retreat – Ideally situated overlooking Camps Bay, Camps Bay Retreat is an eclectic and charming four-star hotel that offers a mix of traditional oceanview rooms and small jungle bungalows and bungalows, tucked away in the forest but still overlooking the sea. I stayed here during my trip and loved it. I suggest booking a room with a hot tub to enjoy the full view of this fantastic property.
• Gorgeous George – This chic boutique hotel in the city center offers a small but popular rooftop pool area and sunbathing deck. This is also a great spot for cocktails, brunch, or lunch!

Mid-Range Cape Town Hotels
