TRAVEL GIRLS GIVING

At We Are Travel Girls we are passionate about inspiring female travel, whilst also giving back to the countries we visit and travelling responsibly.
In 2019, we launched Travel Girls Giving to spotlight charitable organisations, create a place for community fundraising, host impact trips and share sustainable travel tips.

THE GOAL: To raise $3,000 to repair two classrooms at Rainbow Hope Secondary School in Mangochi, Malawi.

We Are Travel Girls visit the Rainbow Hope School annually on our Malawi trip.  A recent  flood caused severe damage to two of the three classrooms compromising the structural integrity of the building. It is imperative the damage is dealt with as soon as possible. Your donations will go towards fixing the damage to these classrooms and will make a huge difference in the lives of these school children.

UPCOMING IMPACT TRIPS

Malawi Expedition

APRIL 2020
Join We Are Travel Girls Founders Becky van Dijk and Vanessa Rivers as they spend a week discovering Malawi, taking part in inspiring community mentoring work, visiting the beautiful rolling tea estates, a 2 night safari, including a river boat safari, and ending on the idyllic Mumbo Island.
We designed this bespoke women’s only expedition in collaboration with Kate Webb of the Responsible Safari Company, a family run Educational, Experiential & Philanthropic Travel company.
This expedition is aimed at ladies wanting to travel with a purpose, take part in inspiring community initiatives and discover a little known slice of Africa.
