Top Things To Do On A Paris Bachelorette Party
Paris is a cultural icon of the world and there is no end of great activities to do in the city. From fantastic shopping in boutique stores and luxury retailers to walking around charming, picturesque neighborhoods, stopping at cute patisseries along the way, and exploring incredible architecture, there’s so much to do!
There are plenty of things to do and see in the city, but here are ten must-do things on a Paris bachelorette party weekend.
1) Have a picnic under the Eiffel Tower
It is the perfect way to catch up with your girls and a cute way of spending a morning or afternoon while seeing Paris’s most iconic landmark. Head to a supermarket for supplies (including some champagne), lay out some blankets in the Champs de Mars park, and have a real feast.
2) Take a scenic boat tour of the river Seine
What could be better than seeing the sights of Paris as you cruise along its famous river whilst having drinks with your friends?
Many companies offer river cruises and if you want to make it extra special, book one for sunset so you can see the City of Light live up to its name. This is a great activity, especially if some of your group have never seen Paris before.
3) Try your hand at perfume making
This is a great activity to break up all the wine-drinking and take things slowly. It also gives your guests the opportunity to take home their very own unique perfume to remember the epic weekend – what a cute souvenir!
4) Taste some of the world’s best wine on a wine-tasting tour
You can’t come to Paris and not sample the wine! There are so many wineries in and outside of Paris where you can sample the best France has to offer. You can also often combine these tours with cheese, chocolate, or a lunch. If champagne is more your thing, you can tour a champagne house – Epernay, the home of Moet & Chandon, is just a train ride away.
5) Go see a burlesque or cabaret show
For a fun, very Parisien night out, head to a cabaret or burlesque show such as the Crazy Horse Show to see talented dancers, tasteful nudity and great singing and music. You can also get packages where dinner and drinks are included.
6) Rent a limo and feel like a celebrity
For a cool way to see Paris, rent a limo and driver, blast some music and roll the windows down of your very own private limousine. Most tours also let you stop at landmarks to take some iconic photos with your girls.
7) Climb the Eiffel Tower
For the best views of Paris and a bucket list moment ticked off, nothing compares to climbing the icon of Paris – the Eiffel Tower. To get to the top, you can take the elevator all the way up, or you can walk halfway. It’s worth booking tickets in advance to avoid the long queues. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for only around 30 euros.
8) Take a day trip to the infamous Palace of Versailles
After a short half-hour journey by train, you can experience the grandeur of the Palace of Versailles – King Louis XVI’s infamous address. Wander around the palace and its gardens and see the Hall of Mirrors, Grand Chapel and State Apartments. You’ll never have seen opulence like it.
9) Indulge in some retail therapy
Paris is the world’s fashion capital, and you can damage your bank account seriously here. You can find some amazing shopping on the 2km of the Champs-Elysees, and make sure you visit the Louis Vuitton flagship store. Other great places to shop are Galeries Lafayette and Printemps.
10) Tour the Louvre
Another must on a visit to Paris, especially for culture-lovers. The Louvre Museum houses some of the most famous pieces of art in the world, but be sure to book a timed ticket in advance to secure your spot.
