Located in downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street has free nightly music and concerts in the streets, a light show, three stages, and even a zipline. Fremont Street also has plenty of casinos, lots of restaurants, and microbreweries, and it’s more affordable than other spots in Las Vegas.
Fremont Street is a great place to explore and visit with your friends for a night away from the strip.
8) Take A Day Trip To Bruce Canyon Or Zion National Park
Other great day trip options from Las Vegas include Bruce Canyon and Zion National Park.
Bruce Canyon National Park is just four hours from Vegas, and it offers incredible hiking trails and viewpoints. Zion National Park is just two and a half hours away. It is also possible to visit both National Parks in one day from Vegas.

There is also a concert in Vegas, no matter what time of year you visit. Some long-term Vegas residencies and shows include the Cirque du Soleil, the Blue Man Group, and Penn & Teller.
You also must see a show at The Sphere! I saw Dead & Company last month and it was one of the coolest experinces of my life!
Best Time Of Year To Visit Las Vegas
Las Vegas is a city built in the sweltering Nevada desert, which means temperatures in the triple digits are commonplace in the summer. To avoid excessive temperatures, the best time to visit of year to visit Las Vegas is during shoulder seasons. Spring (March-May) and Fall (September -November) are ideal months to plan a Vegas trip because the weather isn’t more mild.
A lot of activities are indoors in Las Vegas and there are tons of fun pool parties in the summer. So you don’t have to rule summer out, just know if go in the summer it is going to be very hot.
Las Vegas hotels can also be very pricey during holidays such as Memorial Day weekend, and also when there are big conventions so keep this in mind when choosing dates for your trip.
