Knowing what to pack for your next trip is one of the most common questions I get, so I wanted to put together a packing guide for all of my favourite travel gear. There are so many great items you can bring with you on your next trip that will make your life easier!
From laptops to storage, to WiFi on the go, here are some of my recommended travel technology favourites:
Travel Audio
Whether you are drowning out the sound of engines (or children!) on a plane, or lounging on a beach a want some tropical tunes to relax to travelling with noise-cancelling headphones is a must. Here are my tried and tested favourites!

Travel Organisation
Say goodbye to tangled cables and digging in your bag for your boarding pass with these handy travel organisers to keep all your travel documents in one place and your cables, chargers and other tech accessories organised!

Travel Comfort
Sleeping against a window isn’t really comfortable, is it? So when I have space I like to travel with a few extras to make my journeys on planes, buses and trains more comfortable. These are a few essentials I don’t leave home without!

Travel Waterbottles
Carrying a reusable water bottle is absolutely essential when you travel. Airports are increasingly adding refill stations and you can often refill with tap water at a coffee shop. Here are a few favourite bottles for your journey.

Travel Entertainment
Long bus rides, waiting at airports and sometimes just lazing in a hammock requires you to have some lightweight alternatives to packing your case full of books. Whilst I love the feel of a real book in my hands, having a kindle means I can travel with a variety of reading options to suit my mood!

Travel Connectivity
I’m all for a digital detox and getting offline, but running a travel company means I need to stay connected and in today’s world most people do. Carrying a portable Wifi is a great way to ensure you have a connection wherever you travel.

Portable Chargers
There is nothing worse than running out of battery when you are about to pull up Google maps on your phone so I always carry a portable charger. In fact, I often carry three different sized ones so I am never without power even in remote locations!

Travel Adapters and Cables
Before I met my husband I travelled pretty light in terms of cables and adaptors, but now I am absolutely fully equipped with every cable you require. Right through to an HDMI so I can plugin in the laptop to a hotel TV and watch Netflix – yep, that happens! You might not need as much as me, so here are the essentials you should be carrying!
[amazon table=”42040″]
Travel Laptops
When you are travelling you don’t want to carry heavy laptops around and should be looking to get a small laptop that still offers you speed and storage. My personal favourite laptop is the Dell XPS 13 which I have in rose gold. I shifted from a Macbook Pro since I prefer PC’s and I love that the Dell has three ports so I can charge, plug in my hard drive and a memory card all at the same time!

Travel Backpacks
Finding the perfect backpack is like the holy grail. You can never quite find one that ticks every one of your boxes, plus you need several for different types of trips. I have tried and tested several and am still searching for ‘the one’, but these are some of my favourites that work great for long-haul and short-haul travel when you pack a lot of gear!
