We Are Travel Girls Pocket Guides are unique mini-guides shared to our Instagram profile and published in our free Travel Library. By sharing your destination tips for a Pocket Guide will also inspire female travel, giving other women confidence and courage to see more of this beautiful world!

Please review this page before submitting a guide to see what Pocket Guides we have already published, and which Pocket Guides we are accepting submissions for.

    Follow All Below Guidelines Before Submitting:

    • Complete all the required fields and follow the instructions for each
    • Before submitting your please view our previously published Pocket Guides so you can see what content is required: Pocket Guide Example
    • Please check spelling/grammar before you submit.
    • We recommend saving a copy of your submission entries to your computer in case the submission does not work the first time.
    Other Information:
    • In order to feature authentic guides We Are Travel Girls limits the amount of editing on submissions. However, we do reserve the right to make edits to your Pocket Guide to correct language, grammar, recommendations, additional useful information and images.
    • By submitting your guide and photos you are not considered an employee of We Are Travel Girls and should not represent yourself as such. You retain all rights to your media.
    • We Are Travel Girls does not pay for submissions.
    • Your guide will be featured on our social media and in our Travel Library for free download.
    • We reserve the right to make edits to your guide and / or to remove your guide from our site and social media at a future date should we see a reason to do so without notification.

  • Write a short description of the destination you are creating the Pocket Guide For. Max. 400 characters.
  • Please include the country currency; what traveler the destination is perfect for; the best time of year to visit; budget; international airport. Max. 200 characters.
  • List the top 10 things to do in the destination. Max. 500 characters.
  • List 3-5 Luxury Hotel Options; 3-5 Mid-Range Hotel Options and 3-5 Budget Hotel Options. Max. 500 characters.
  • List your top 6-8 restaurants in the city and your top 6-8 bars or places for cocktails with a view. Max 500 characters.
  • List 5-10 things that visitors to the destination cannot miss when they visit. Max. 500 characters.
  • List 5-10 of your top tips for people visiting this destination. Max. 500 characters.
  • Finally, provide you a most important tip or recommendation for this destination. Max. 500 characters.
  • Please Note: A red "X" will appear when the image is successfully uploaded.

    • PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES | PLEASE READ
      • Please only submit photos you own the rights to and that have been taken by you. DO NOT submit any photos that you have sourced from the internet or from an image website. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any images uploaded via this form are your own and are not copywritten. If the photos submitted were taken of you by a photographer, please provide the name of the photographer to be credited.
      • Please edit your images before submitting. For example to straighten them!
      • We Are Travel Girls might use an alternate images for your Pocket Guides if the images provided are not the quality we require.

      • The red X appearing next to your uploaded photo means it loaded correctly and you can click it to delete the photo.
      • If your photos are uploading slowing it is probably due to a poor internet connection, so try again when you have better WiFi.

    What Happens Next

    If your Pocket Guide is chosen to be featured we will post this to our Instagram page tagging your account. We have included detailed guidelines to help your Pocket Guide be selected, so please ensure you follow all of these.

    Due to the volume of submissions that we receive, if your guide is not selected to be published, we will not be able to provide you with specific feedback on why it was not chosen.
