Gather up your girlfriends, your pool floats and book your flights to Bali! I recently spent a few days at Peppers Luxury Villa Resort in Seminyak and wanted to share with you why this is an awesome place for your next girly getaway! (Or if it suits you better a couple’s or family trip!)
THE VILLAS
Peppers Seminyak offers luxury villa accommodation, with 1, 2 and 3 bedroom Pool Villas and 3, 4 and 5 bedroom Presidential Villas. Each villa is surrounded by beautiful gardens, frangipani trees and peaceful lotus ponds offering you a relaxing and tranquil environment from the moment you open the very heavy door to your villa!
We stayed in a 3 bedroom Presidential Villa, with each bedroom essentially a “mini villa”. The rooms are chic, spacious and luxurious, with large king size beds, a desk with flat screen TV, sitting areas and enough wardrobe space for you to bring that second suitcase you were thinking about!
Each bedroom is adjoined by a large indoor / outdoor bathroom that you can leave entirely open to the elements or use the pull down blinds. The bathtubs are big (and romantic!) enough for two and feel like your own personal paradise. If a shower is more your thing, you can go for either the large waterfall indoor shower or the outdoor jungle shower if you want to get a little friendly with nature. Sufficient to say Peppers offers you plenty of amazing options to clean off after laying by the pool!
Each villa has a huge separate shared living space, with large dining table, spacious sofa area and a fully equipped kitchen. We were too excited to eat at the Peppers on-site restaurant Laneway, but having the option to cook for yourself is always welcome. This place is ready for you and your friends to start the party before you head to the hotspots in Seminyak!
And it goes without saying that the most important is the private swimming pool! Since I have always been partial to a skinny dip, having privacy for a midnight swim was pretty cool. There are plenty of lounge chairs for tanning and also an outdoor gazebo for when you want to sip on a drink in the shade.
THE LANEWAY RESTAURANT
The Laneway restaurant is a chic spot overlooking the 35 meter rock pool, where breakfast is served everyday and cocktails and fine dining in the evening. The morning breakfast was incredible, with a full continental style spread complete with amazing juices in individual glass bottles. And for later at night you can enjoy a high end fruit shisha at the bar!
THE GYM
For those of you who like to keep in shape on vacation, Peppers offers a brand new state of the art gym. The award winning workout facility offer everything you need to burn off all that Nasi Goreng, including free weights, exercise bikes, and a treadmill over looking pool.
THE SPA
After a day of sightseeing in Seminyak and the surrounding areas you will be ready of a relaxing massage or treatment at the Spa! The Spa at Peppers is a luxurious escape from the busy streets. The Spa offers all of the traditional services you would expect from a world class resort, such as various massages, body scrubs, and manicures/pedicures. Peppers goes one step further and offers some more unique spa experiences as well, including Wellness Healing sessions with a Reiki Master, Life Coaching, and multi-day long rejuvenation packages! Sufficient to say that the Spa at Peppers is a one stop thing for all things mind, body, and spirit.
AROUND PEPPERS
The resort has so much to offer it’s unlikely you will want to leave! But then again you are in Bali, so you probably want to sight-see and explore the local area. A short walk from Peppers you will find the famous Potato Head beach club, restaurant and bar, which is a great spot for watching the sunset whilst enjoying some live music. For the day time I recommend lunch at the very Instagramable spots Sea Circus and Motel Mexicola. And for a late party night do not miss La Favela – this is THE spot in Seminyak!
