The Four Seasons brand is synonymous with luxury and quality, and the dining experience at their Le George restaurant in the heart of Paris is no different. Set just off from the beautiful lobby, Le George is filled with modern elegance, white lilies and orchids stand tall throughout the interior of the restaurant and bright purple flowers and neatly cut hedges are expertly laid out to create a beautiful garden atmosphere out on the terrace.
Interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon created the setting by combining traditional Parisian influences, including a gorgeous vaulted ceiling and contemporary artwork, with a modern relaxed vibe perfect for a lunch. There is lots of flowing light throughout the room and outdoor seating in the marble courtyard as well. The recent addition of the glass covered area allows you to enjoy this restaurant every season, whatever the Parisian weather brings!
The presentation of the food is as tastefully designed as the venue itself. Le George serves lighter mediterranean fare, and I particularly enjoyed the Semi-Cooked Tuna & Summer Truffle Petals, the Beef Carpaccio with Black Truffle, and the Roasted Sole.
However, a special mention has to be made for the Onion Tarte Tatin with Parmesan Ice Cream. This house speciality came out with the other appetisers and definitely surprised me. I never would have thought to combine a caramelised onion with ice cream as a starter, but the flavours worked incredibly well together and I was hard pressed to not order a second!
When it comes to desserts, Parisians have this area covered! As I mentioned Le George offers light dishes allowing you save some room to enjoy some luxurious treats after your main courses. We enjoyed three different delicious desserts, Strawberry Mille-Feuilles & Verbena, Cheese Creme Brulee, Mandarin Sorbet and Chocolat Composition.
We began our dining adventure with a glass of Veuve Cliquot Rose champagne and continued with our starters and main courses carefully paired with wines to complement the flavours of the dishes. If you are not knowledgeable in wines I would highly recommend asking for recommendations of what to pair with the dishes you select.

The Four Seasons Le George in Paris is the perfect setting to enjoy lunch and a glass of champagne with girlfriends, giving you a break from sightseeing and shopping. I would thoroughly recommend spoiling yourself on your next trip to Paris and booking a table at Le George.
I was welcome as a guest by Le George at The Four Seasons Paris. As always all opinions are my own.
