My Villa Rental Experience With Turnkey365
South Africa holds a special place in my heart. I first visited Cape Town in December 2023, and I loved it so much that I returned for another two week visit in April. During my recent trip, I stayed at a luxury villa in Camps Bay with Turnkey365.
This was my first time staying at a villa rental in Cape Town so I was slightly worried about the quality of service and accommodations I would receive. But the Turnkey365 team was excellent on every level.
My check in at the Anella Villa in Camps Bay was seamless. The villa was spotless and there was an array of welcome goodies waiting for me including MCC (South Africa’s champagne), a cheese plate, and local snacks.
A dedicated concierge member was there to greet me upon arrival. I was given a warm welcome and a tour of the property. But the attentiveness did not stop there. The concierge team, who were available 24/7 via WhatsApp, were extremely helpful and attentive throughout my entire stay.
My villa also came with a dedicated housekeeper (Harrison). He kept the house tidy, prepared the pool daily, made coffee and snacks and also provided a sense of safety and comfort.
I spent four days at the Anella Villa in Camps Bay and my only complaint was that it was not long enough. Everything about my stay with Turnkey365 was wonderful. I loved the privacy that the villa provided as well as the top notch service I received.
If you’re looking for a luxury villa or apartment in Cape Town, I highly recommend using Turnkey365.
Anella II Villa, Camps Bay Highlights
Turnkey365 has an incredible portfolio of vacation rentals in Cape Town. From 2 bedroom apartments to 6 bedroom luxury villas, they’ve got all your vacation rental needs covered.
During my Cape Town getaway, I stayed at their Anella II villa. This is a well appointed three level, 5 bedroom villa offering a private, gated space with stylish furniture and beautiful views of Camps Bay and Lion’s Head Peak.
On the main level you will find a gourmet kitchen, a large dinning room, bathroom and a living room that flows onto a wooden terrace that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and the famous Twelve Apostles mountain range.
I loved that all the bedrooms in this villa are en-suite. Four bedrooms are located on the top floor, and three of the bedrooms have expansive ocean views. The 5th bedroom is located on the bottom floor, overlooking the pool.
The lower level offers a newly updated chic bar area, a rec room with a pool table, a TV and sofa and a spacious, secluded deck that wraps around the pool. I loved that pool area is surrounded by trees allowing you to sunbath poolside in complete privacy.
I really loved the expansive main level deck for entertaining. I had a couple of local friends over during my stay, and we enjoyed wine and cheese on the deck while taking in incredible sunset views over Camps Bay.
We also loved hanging out in the lower level rec room where we spent hours playing pool and listening to music. I also loved the location of Anella II.
This villa is ideally situated, allowing you to walk to Camps Bay Beach and the restaurants and shops along the promenade. It is on the Glen side of Camps Bay, on a quiet, secure road, making it the perfect villa for a family vacation or a relaxing Cape Town getaway.
The Best Neighborhoods To Stay At In Cape Town
Cape Town offers a handful of lovely, seaside neighborhoods. Here are the best neighborhoods to stay at during your visit to Cape Town.
- Sea Point – Sea Point is a lively, affluent suburb with great beaches that offer tidal pools, kids’ playgrounds, and the Sea Point Promenade, a popular walking route that traces the coastline. This is the most centralized neighborhood. It offers an array of great restaurants, bars, and shops and is an ideal spot to stay in on your first trip to Cape Town.
- Camps Bay – Camps Bay is slightly removed from the city while having access to everything close by. Camps Bay Beach is known for its fine white sand, natural rock swimming pools and views of the beautiful Twelve Apostles Mountain Range. The promenade mall offers posh seafood restaurants, cute cafes, and terraced cocktail bars overlooking the ocean.
- Clifton – The most affluent area of Cape Town, Clifton is a small, gorgeous neighborhood with stunning white sand beaches and sweeping views of the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range, paired with Famed Lions Head peak as its backdrop.
- V&A Waterfront and Green Point – The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Green Point areas are right next to each other, situated around the port. This is a busy commercial area, but it is a great spot to stay if you want to have walking access to a lot of the city’s amenities like the Cape Town Stadium, the Tow Oceans Aquarium, and the Cape Town Cruise Terminal.

When To Visit Cape Town
The best time to visit Cape Town is summertime (December – March).
While not as warm, shoulder seasons can also be nice in Cape Town. Early autumn (April- May) and late spring (October -November) are good times to visit as well.
During the winter months in South Africa (June – September), Cape Town can be rainy, cold and windy so it’s best to avoid these months if you’re a sun seeker.
But these off season months offer the cheapest rates, so if you are looking for an amazing deal on luxury accommodations, you might want to consider visiting Cape Town in the wintertime.
