With so many retreats popping up in Bali it’s hard to know which one is right for you! Whether you are looking to learn a new skill, connect with other travellers, surf, teach yoga, be active, be inactive, there is something for every type of traveller. In this post I share the best retreats in Bali for women:
We Are Travel Girls Bali Retreat
We Are Travel Girls is a popular female travel community, founded by myself and Vanessa Rivers. In 2017 we launched Travel Girls Getaways to bring together our large female travel community together offline.
We now run a variety of active trips, educational retreats and tours around the world. At our Bali retreat we will be taking you to see the best of Bali, the focus of the week is to connect with other women in the community, to have fun, but also leave some time for workshops on building a business, entrepreneurship, the power of a blog for your company, social media, building a community and much more.
Unlike other retreats you will find run by your favourite influencer or Instagrammer, our retreats and trips are the core focus of our business. We are not travelling the world every week (unless we are on a research trip for a future destination!), instead we are busy working away on ensuring every aspect of our curated luxury trips is catered for. We make sure that you experience a seamless trip, with everything organised before, during and after so that you can sit back relax and know that we have everything covered!
We currently do not have any Travel Girls Getaways to Bali on our schedule but you can find out about other trips here and if you are interested in the education element of this retreat you can now get access to the content online, with my Blogger Course.
Desa Seni Yoga Retreats
When you Google ‘Yoga Retreat In Bali’, you will come up with a lot of results. But Desa Seni stands out against the rest due to its daily programme of yoga, teaching training and the lush surroundings that you will call home during your stay. The resort was carefully built over 11 years ago, bringing together Indonesian Joglo structures to create a village of small houses which provide your accommodation during your retreat.
Mondo Surf Village Retreats
Mondo Surf Village was founded by three friends Quico, Arvid and Bruno, Mondo, who were all avid surfers who wanted to create a place where they could share their passion with other travellers. Surfing is the main activity on offer at the resort. There are several different retreat packages, including a 7-night Surf & Sun package which includes accommodation, 5 surf lessons (including equipment, instructors & travel), 6 yoga sessions, breakfast and free use of scooters. Other packages include photography lessons, martial arts, yoga, massages or a mix of all the above if you select the Lifestyle package.
The Chillhouse – Surf, Bike & Yoga
If you are into surfing, biking and yoga then The Chillhouse is for you. Located in Canggu The Chillhouse offers a range of retreat packages, as well as the option to mix and match different activities to suit your own preferences. All this comes in a gorgeous accommodation in Canggu where you can connect with other guests, enjoy delicious organic meals and stay in private bungalows.
I hope this post has inspired you to visit Bali and join a retreat. Please share your own favourite retreats with our readers in the comments below.
