We Are Travel Girls provides a platform to share your informative travel stories with an audience of over 8 million readers. We link to your website and social networks in the by line of your guest posts so that our readers can easily find and follow you. Your travel story and tips will also inspire more women to travel the world with confidence!

  • You can include a brief 2-3 sentence bio about yourself that will be published in the author section.
  • STORY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES | PLEASE READ Follow All Below Guidelines Before Submitting:

    • Do not submit duplicate content.
    • Length: Your article should be at least 1,500 words and our preference is for articles to be 2,000 – 3,000.
    • Content: We are looking for factual guides to a specific destination and not for personal inspiration or diary style posts.
    • Images: Please include a minimum of 8 photos. Please only submit photos you own the rights to. See the photo section for more information.
    • Please include relevant titles and links
    • We recommend saving a copy of your blog post to your computer in case the submission does not work the first time.
  • Please submit a detailed and informative travel article with appropriate links in brackets next to linked text.
  • PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES | PLEASE READ
    • Please only submit photos you own the rights to and that have been taken by you. DO NOT submit any photos that you have sourced from the internet or from an image website.
    • Please submit a minimum of 8 images, but the more images the better!
    • Please submit photos that are in JPEG format between 250KB-500KB and at least 1000px wide. How To Resize Your Pictures and Resize Tool
    • Please title your photos by describing the photo. For example, if your photo is a sunset over the Santa Monica pier, title that photo as sunset-santa-monica-pier.jpg.
    • The red X appearing next to your uploaded photo means it loaded correctly and you can click it to delete the photo.
  • Please Note: A red “X” will appear when the image is successfully uploaded.

      • We reserve the right to make edits to your article to improve writing and add/remove links, information, and images. We also reserve the right to include affiliate links and to remove your article from our site at a future date without notification.
      • We Are Travel Girls does not pay for contributor posts.

    What Happens Next

    If your story is chosen to be published, you will be notified via email within 2-3 weeks. We only publish informative travel stories that include relevant content, travel tips, knowledge and insight that will help our readers on their travels, so please consider this when you submit a post. We have included detailed guidelines to help your story be selected, so please ensure you follow all of these.
