  • 2 hours from the amusement park city of Orlando is this gorgeous springs destination “Ginnie Spring” What a change on scenery arriving to this area! A lot of green!!! Woods and fresh air! Definitely the perfect escape from the loud and busy Orlando, FL (which is where we were staying).⁠ ⁠ Once you reach the Springs you have a large water area where you can decide where to go in and enjoy the cold waters. Some of the access areas have underwater craters and caves where divers go in, or you can just swim around, but beware!! There are no lifeguards on duty!.⁠ ⁠ It is recommended to visit the Springs during weekdays or early in the morning as it gets crowded as the day goes by. The rate to spend the day enjoying is $15.00.   • If you are traveling to Jaipur, make sure you have Amer on your must-see list. It's a city located 15km from Jaipur and it's a perfect place for a full-day trip. Ending the day watching sunset from Amber Fort makes it even more magical. ⠀ ⠀ To get there you have to climb hundreds of steep stairs, but it's totally worth it.   • Arequipa is the most beautiful city in Peru. It has a charming old town with a wonderful architecture.   • Nusa Penida, you did not disappoint. A beautiful island mostly untouched by tourism (aside from one or two main viewpoints), for most of the day we were driving on dirt tracks through the forest to get to our next destination, only passing other vehicles when we got very close to the next stop. There are so many natural wonders here and we only managed to see half of them in our two days on the island!⁠ ⁠ This is Kelingking Beach, the most famous viewpoint on Nusa Penida and where you'll find the majority of the tourists. It's beautiful but there is so much more to this place! A lot of people just come for day trips to see this one viewpoint, I urge you to stay on the island and get out to see this unspoilt, mostly untouched paradise before everyone else finds out about it. Thousand Island viewpoint is, in my opinion, a thousand times more beautiful for Kelingking, and we saw just 5 other travellers there - compared to the hundreds at Kelingking! ⁠ ⁠ But if you are hell-bent on seeing Kelingking, when you get there, turn right and follow the path AWAY from the steps down to the beach.   • Fisherman's Bastion in Budapest is a place that can be considered magical at any time of day. But going at dawn? Prepare to be transported out of this world and right into a fairy tale. Climbing up the hill as the sun begins to peek its head up beyond the Danube, you arrive at the Bastion as the first wisps of pink begin to appear on the stone façade. You feel like royalty mounting the grand staircase, climbing up to a castle all your own. ⠀ ⠀ The view of the city in the distance takes your breath away as much as the chilly morning air. And as you reach the top, you are rewarded with the beauty of the sunrise reflected on the river below. It's impossible not to feel like a princess!⠀ ⠀ Getting out of bed at four in the morning is a tough ask for someone like me, who really needs her beauty sleep. But having a place like the Fisherman's Bastion all to yourself in the beautiful morning light makes it all worth it, and I'd recommend it a thousand times over.   • There are many lakes and mountain views in Switzerland, but one tops them all: the Oeschinen Lake, a unique Unesco world heritage site situated in the Berner Oberland! ⁠ ⁠ Think blue waters, majestic mountain cliffs, green trees, waterfalls and even glacier: it has it all! And at any season of the year!⁠ 🗺How to get there: about 45min from Bern by car, situated 20 minutes after the Blausee, you will need first to get to Kandersteg.⁠ 🏔 Hike difficulty: none - you can take the gondola (8am-6pm in summer for 30CHF) or go by foot and walk about 1h30.
